I rolled down to GSM yesterday just to hang with the boys a bit and throw on the new HIDs. What a difference these things make! If you guys were ever on the fence of making the switch, stop what you are doing right now and order some for crying out loud. I was driving on the freeway last night in front of the wife for awhile in the GC and definitely made no mistake in her position on the freeway. The Charger looked hella cool!
Scott offered to send some extra Charger tails he had laying around the shop in for paint and tint for me yesterday. Why? Cuz he is just that kickazz of a dude!!! Anyways, I'm holding off figuring I'll get a lot of good ideas at the Spring Festival and I am waiting impatiently. I definitely can't wait to see your sled Ron as well as Legmaker,Talon's, etc.
I also installed some 8000k bulbs in place of the stockers...super cool. That very night (while checking out how cool the blue light looked) I drove my passenger wheels over a pothole at 80 mph and cratered both wheels. That was even cooler.
Thanks man, but I guess when it's all done I will have a couple of extra wheels to send off the that place in Michigan to be repaired AND widened to 10.5". Just a little sooner than I was ready for My wife and I may be "OurZoo2" soon. She wants a GCSTR8 pretty badly. We have a friend with a blue one that flaunts his remote start all the time and she is sooo focused on that. Oh well, if that what it takes... I still throw up a little thinking about how those wheels looked when I crawled under there and looked. BTW, I'll be at GSM April 19th for a tune if you're around.
You can get the factory remote start put on your Charger if you like it. We did it on our Charger. It just requires a separate remote.
Welcome to the HID world. You will never go back to Halogen again. I went with 8K Ice Blue on my Magnum and Charger.
