My buddy at the dealership has a 05 silver sc srt10 truck. He is thinking about doing some headers and nitrous. My/his question is how much nitrous is safe? And who makes the best headers. Thanks guys

Check out these American Racing Headers...

$2290 with high flow cats and $2090 with "Off Road" mids. If you have any questions or would like to order a set, just give me a call.

Plenty of room in the bed of these trucks ....more bottle the better. Is your dealer going with any other mods.....that will decide the amount of N02 he will use.
Go to my video page and there is a video of my setup. Safety first, window switch and WOT switch. Heaters are a must here in Ohio. Auto openers are nice. Purge w/LED is a cool factor as well. I have belanger headers with X-metal mid's- cat deletes, sim's & magnaflow.

Thanks guys. For a bone stock motor with the long tubes and a flashed PCM what's a safe shot? Also I saw that 10 second srt10 truck. How in the hell did he get drag tires and rims over those big brakes?

..17" Eagle alloy 058 series rim..............the long tube headers meantioned above are great....you wont go wrong with either as far as long tube headers go...but the gain in power long tube vs short tube is small..the shortys are about half the price....that difference could be spent on better "bang for your buck" mods......I have the Bassani shortys on my truck........I dont know if Southern has Bassani but they are great people to deal with..

Unless the clutches on these are stonger than the 545rfe tranny I could see issues with prolonged use that is why I suggest getting an antibalooning plate when doing and upgrade on the TC

I don't know what will be safe for stock pistons, maybe 150 shot, but it will definitely decrease the life of them.

For stock rods, I know that a 200-shot NOS with a Roe SC will bend the stock rods! :'>

Nitrous just like any other power adder is safe if respected, with the right amount of fuel to the mix you can run impressive levels on even the weakest motors. But respect it because few do.

Still can't get used to seeing five tubes on the headers! Lol!
