agp said to send the wg to them. its doing exactly opposite what it is supposed ot do. and it did the same on my bro's car. jesus, youre prob right(like usual) it is prob the spring. there are only 4 parts, (arm, spring, housing and diaphram) only one part actually controls the boost(spring) the spring is probably messed up.

jesus, think i should send it? if not, reccomend the ptp spring? (ozzy, youre getting one too right?)

 

a local here is having the same wga problem some what he cant boost no more than 17psi with the bleeder on a S3 and the stock style agp i modded goes up to 27 so theres no boost leak there

 

what was his solution? i REALLY dont want to undo all of what jesus did just to put it back in a week or so. im leaning towards gettign a new spring, replacing it, then seeing the results.

i'm goin Dtec....we'll see what happens......chances are even if i DO need a new buffer board once i've installed it(if i ever DO that is....) i probably still won't get rid of my Dtec. i like the fact that you can save up to 4 different fuel maps AND it datalogs, i even picked up the digi/analog cables so i can datalog my A/Fs from my wideband, that should make tuning it a little easier.

Of course I'm late to this but I'm already aware your sending the AGP wga to AGP which is the best thing to do so they can run their tests and determine the problem.

 

Dude I actually drove all the way out there and they weren't open so I went to some "gangsta hideaway" called nocturnals cause they were the only place I could find open and ended up leaving at like 5-6 am for home... lol I was hungover like hell the next morning lol :sick:

 

im waiting for agp to get back to me. they will send me a workorder number.

aparently a bad batch got out and there is a small home in the wg diaphram causing the boost to bleed at the wg enough to open the wg to relieve some pressure, but it is only read at the wg. so when the wg sees 15psi, bleeding off some, (maybe 8/9psi) the rest of the pressurized system may read the true"23 psi" mark.

and upon swapping back to the stock lines/pcm controlled boosy, i noticed a very slight amount of shaft play. but it is only noticable after i move it back and forth a few times.
