Just back from a crazy install weekend!

I did an SRT rear into 5.7 swap,a set of heads on FlybyU's SRT8 Charger and a set of 392 Stu's heads and cam into NYC_SRT8's 300,along with some Kooks headers..........AND THEN......Just for shits and giggles I dropped this badboy into my car.......

It's an HHP/BES forged 6.1 shortblock.I swapped in an HHP/BES Stroker stage 3 cam as well.....which cannot be done on a stock 6.1 due to valve clearance issues.While I was in there I replace all the lifters and pushrods as well as the timing set,a set of PSI Springs and titanium retainers.I retained the Frank Racing heads and Intake since they make good power and I am very happy with the results.
Now that the block is done it's time to get serious with the spray.......looking to run a 10.5 index this year so the cage is a must.I was supposed to drop the car off today but the fabricator hurt himself on his sled.....hopefully next week.

Spoke with Dan"FLY" earlier.He was a happy camper..

 

The motor is pretty much broken in.I need to install the larger injectors as the stock 6.1 injectors are maxed out according to the Star Mobile logs I did.So with some good tuning this should be an animal.

Yep, Erik worked his tail off last weekend. Im in love with my new FRI heads and cant wait to run em.

Cant wait to see what Eriks, jonz and Wills cars do at the track.
