so I'm thinking of getting an safc neo soon. Good idea? Bad Idea? I won't have a wideband yet but I won't plan on tuning it yet either or even installing it, I'm just trying to get things out of the way.

A neo is ok to use they only have one map and one throttle setting which is WOT U should save for a Dtec instead cause u can do boost by gear so that u can have traction again or 5 other maps

He had a DTEC and it took a crap on him. TXS sent him a buffer board but I think he didn't want to even bother with it after the headaches. Another local is having problems with his DTEC as well and was sent a buffer board.

I say good idea. I've been looking at them for over a month.
After their bad experiences with the DTEC, definitely not an option for me at this time.

    and a new wg issue!

it seems to work pretty good. i turned it down 1/2 a turn and it now holds 16 psi on 3rd but 4th it goes pretty high. last i checked 22. (i need a wide band to ensure no lean for me.)

Made a trip to Lujan Motorsports in Miami, Pablo tuned it. Did a great job at a very fair rate, considering numerous dyno runs, etc. He no longer works there but I'm sure you could get ahold of him on the forums.
