Not Another Oil Thread! Is Anybody Using Royal Purple 5w-40

just curious if anybody is using 5w-40 rp. i am using it for the first time before the srt shootout in indianapolis. hey i need that edge. just looking for any users. of royal purple that is.

 

Royal Purple is good stuff, used it in the truck for years plus you can buy it at Pep Boys.

 

No - but it's one of the top two I'd like to try. The other is Torco Racing now has a 5W-40 full synthetic racing oil.

i have used it..... great stuff, but is it worth the extra dough??? not sure, maybe one of the experts can shed some light on why it is so good! i really would like to know the difference between RP and mobile 1.....

 

I'm sure either RP or Amsoils website breaks em all down in comparrison well I know Amsoil does

 

I used 15w 50 RP in mine. Great stuff.

 

yeah, but i never like to read the stuff on the sites.....seems a bit biased...hahahahaha i like to hear stuff from real people with real life cars and driving situations!!!!
