    I was under there too and even with a right angle drill it is doubtful. a bit that large adds alot. even a step bit

    I reinstalled the stock back up today with the rear 02 off and just reving in the garage produced 16.5 spikes then back to around 14.7 At cold crank, the guage stays at 0 for about 20 sec. (heater warming up?) then around 14 durring remainder of high idle or choke (1k rpm) then settles in after a few bounces to 14.5-15.
    I will put the bung up front and sure hope this is all a missread due to high temps after the cats etc. and not some engine problem.
    That bucking, hesitation etc. I get at WOT, could that be the result of the knock sensors working due to lean cond?

    You will see spikes when you let off the gas, as well as during shifts is all normal. 14.5-15 is normal for crusing and idle. I would probably just take it easy on it untill you get the bung moved up front, just in case there is a problem. Hope it all works out for you. Good luck!

    I could imagine that it might feel like hesitation. Bucking? Don't know how fast the knock sensors cause timing to be pulled and how fast it's restored.

    You should be able to see all that if you log the knock retard, spark advance, rpm, and throttle position. If spark advance is in the ball park and you're seeing a lot of knock retard it might be that you're too lean.

    Unfortuneately, I'm no mechanic, just tinkerer. I don't have a clue as to logging or understanding what to look for. Thats why I'm always posing my dumb questions to you all!

    Maybe you do have a fuel pump/fuel pressure problem?

    That lean condition and the bucking/hesitation could be from lack of fuel flow. Plugged fuel filter? I'd have the dealer check your fuel pressure.

    We had a little leaning-out at top-in....it was a fuel pump, the Truck has three...0ne in the gas tank and two Walbur's under my ass on the inside of the main rail of the Truck.
    Around town she's at 14.2-15.9...under WOT she's more at 11.9-12.4.(pig/rich!) at about 8.3#'s/boost.
    Still have the cast internals. My system is close to 106/psi.

    Ive tried that, but like I say, I runs good under normal driving so they don't want to take me seriously. As you know, I bit the bullet and installed the Kenne-bell boost-a-pump. But that only kicks in at extream WOT so I'm not even sure it works

    Howdee,

    We have mentioned several times that you need to let us check out the fuel pressure after you had the problems with the Nitrous. When do you want to bring it in? I would also prepare to the possibility of leaving it here overnight depending on what we find.

    I use my DashHawk for data logging but the predator looks like it has similar capabilities. From what I can gather quickly browsing the manual you would plug the predator in to the obdII port and from the menu

    Diagnotics->Real Time Data->Live Data

    Then you start the car and select the parameters to log? Looks like you'd want

    Cooling->Amb Temp
    Cooling->ECT
    Cooling->EXH Temp
    Ignition->Base Spark
    Ignition->Spk Adv 1
    Misfire->KNK ST Retard
    Performance->ENG RPM (Maybe the RPM one?)
    Throttle->ACC PDL POS

    then it looks like to start it you select Watch and Record. Download to PC and use their dataviewer to look at it?

    Unfortunately some of those parameters will probably work and some might not where DCx uses DCx specific pids. I'm sure someone here has experience with the predator logging and can help with the right selection.
