That is the video that aired on the local news here in Lake worth. funny thing about that video . I was in the water on that shallow reef lobstering with my daughter completely oblivous to their presence the day before the video was shot. My daughter is only 9 and she said to me "were the only ones out here today" so I asked if she was scared she said nope. Wait till she sees this Video. I will need a new dive buddy. lol
whaaaat dan!!!! you were out in that stuff with you girl???? man, everytime i go to the beach, i am always looking around me!!!! hahahahaha i have been stung by jelly fish more times than i can count!!!! arrggghhh!!!
Like I said I was oblivous. Didnt even see one. And no lobster either. We got out of the water when the music started. DAA dun DAA dun DAA dun. lol
On our honeymoon in the Bahamas, I was snorkling when a Grouper, about 4-6 feet long swam within 20 yards of me. Nearly shat myself before realizing what it was. Had I seen a good size shark... fuggetaboutit... I'd have ran across the surface back to shore.
momo - made me think of a trip to the keys a few years ago..... my son and i are snorkling around this reef area, and i turn to see my son floating about 1 foot above a 6 foot barracuda!!!!! friggin scared me chitless!!!!! my son was oblivious and the cuda just sat there. needless to say, i was a bit anxious when he got back in the water!!!
