Here is how it went down. I am crusing around not really looking to run just enjoying the Jeep after I finally have resolved my lean condition.(Thanks to Greg @ Bwoody) I am sitting at a red and notice this guy checking the Jeep out. I can't tell at this point what it is, so I let him go first through the light and I hear his BOV. Sweet a subie! My heart starts pounding as this guy is going to need some serious help if he wants to run me. So, we are tooting along when up ahead a red light and a clear road. I glance over at him and give him the nod. He starts reving. Light turns green and we both go. He is with me for a half a sec. and I am GONE! I put bus lengths on him when I shut down at 80. I slow up to let him catch up and he has the huge grin on his face that says "holy shit! I just got my ass handed to me by a Jeep!". The people in his car are all giving me props and he says he spun all 4 tires, but still says the Jeep is bad ass. Me feeling the pride drove home knowing I just educated some more people on how bad ass these rides are!!
I had the race of a lifetime, personally, the other day. I lost by about 1/2 car... to a Lamborghini Gallardo... the dude WAS cocky, until he noticed I was keeping up with him.
Nice!!!!!!!!! The look on there face when you put bus lenths on them to this day is priceless. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
