I'm sitting here listening to the live internet audiocast of NHRA qualifying in Phoenix, and wondered if I'm possibly the only one even remotely this interested in drag racing. LOL
damn of all the dumb questions. this has to be your best i didnt fly to Indy on Labor day weekend to see the Colts play. and yes i am a member I'll be at the Gators next month. :dancing:
You're the one guy I thought of when I asked the question. LOL I assumed you were a member. It's what - a whopping $68 a year? Just not a lot of people sign up.
im not even sure anymore..i always renew yearly at the Gators so i can get a free tshirt...cheap i know if u sign up at an event they give u a tshirt..dont have that offer anymore if you do it online or thru mail actually there is a bonus for us members. alot of people dont realize this. As a "participant" and/or NHRA member you are provided with certain insurance benefits at NHRA member tracks. If you are a member of NHRA you have a higher level of benefits. Highlights of those benefits are as follows: http://www.nhra.com/insurance/
Yes - they give you the shirt if you sign up at the U.S. Nationals. The biggest reason for me is the subscription to National Dragster - and extra online access.
i agree Dragster is the major thing but some people forget the other little benefits i normally listen to friday qualifing at the office. bob frey uses the same old jokes...from event to event discount on event tix...tho normally i get a better deal paid $50 for Indy event tix one of my favorites is the member tent at national events = clean restrooms...lol
LOL - what's wrong with being a WJ fan? Other than it makes us assume you're 86 years old. (also ducking for cover)
hell the only reason I went hi-def was so I could watch NHRA on ESPN. I'm a big fan of Greg Anderson. He's going to be a beast this year since he lost the championship last year because he was sleeping on the tree. And you gotta love John Force, you never quite know what he's going to say when you put a mic in front of the guy.
:no: :bottom::bang: Ed..some people shouldn't have keyboard access when they've obviously been drinkin
You had to love the 4" margin of victory over Jeg in thirteen ten-thousanths of a second. I once won a race by 3/4" in five ten-thousandths of a second at around 110mph. (as in 0.0005 seconds)
