BTW, before I start. Heidi and Jina rock!!!!!!

Ok, my car is pretty complete but I had a couple things that needed to be done before Spring Fest. The Hotchkis swaybars got installed at Talon's house last weekend and everyone has seen plenty of those pics. This week, I got my deliveries from Heidi and Jina. Here's what they sent me.

    Billet Tech stuff

Great job, that looks sick...I can't wait to see it. Me, I will be late to my own show , as usual, lol. I have mods lined up every week until the show.

The small bolt caps are supposed to thread onto the strut bolts but since the base of the strutbar is about 1/8" thick, there's no thread left to bolt on to. I used a small dab of silicone under each cap.

The large tower cap does have some bumping. I put them yesterday and started hearing a loud clunking sound during the day. I originally thought the end bushings from my new swaybars had come loose again because it sounded exactly the same. In the afternoon, I took the strut tower caps off and drove home. The sound was gone. It turns out that the struts move quite a bit and the tower caps were hitting the base of the strutbar. I could see small flakes of red paint on the tower cap. I'm going to call BT on Monday to get another set of the washers that come with the tower caps. That should raise them up enough to keep from hitting. If it doesn't help, i guess they'll be for "show" only.

Looking good! All you need are another set of washers. We have another customer with the strut bar and we had to throw another set of washers on. It stops the bumping. The struts do travel a bit up and down. Give us a ring and we will take care of it Immediately. We dont get the chance to read every post so if anyone has an Issue or just has a question we will work diligently to resolve any sitiuations with any of our products. Besides if we dont know we cant help. Nice work on the embroidery too. Cant wait to see it in person! Only 17 more days. Spring Fling rocks

I came up with a solution today. You can call BT for extra washers or try this.

Hey Dan, I hope I didn't come off as being negative about the caps. I'm very happy with them and the service I've always received from you guys. I was going to call first thing this morning cause I know you would've taken care of the issue.
