Go with the largest AFE or K&N that you can get your hands on,or that fits in the space provided anyhow.

erik - not having my car in front of me, i can't remember how much room i have, but i did see on the kn website that they have an 8" filter that is 6 1/2" in dia for the 4" mopar cai. is this big enough??? also, does it really matter if the filter is tapered or a straight tube design...

I would measure it out Chris.......you may be surprised to see that if you move the PS resevior to the coolant tank you can fit an 8x10 in there.

Chris you might consider a AEM dry filter...no oiling and coating sensors....My brother has one on his RT Mopar CAI...but it is the same size as the Mopar CAI so I cant help on how big of one will fit..

I think its time for a "Which CAI?" thread... every forum worth its weight in salt has one. I will take this burden upon myself.

Well... for the LX's I think it's pretty much between the AFE stage II or some sort of Hammer. But like I said I haven't seen anyone include the Mopar in comparison tests.
