Just installed my BT catch can. I have seen pics where peeps throttle body is all dirty and I can't see how that would occur with my current PCV routing...it looks to me like the hose enters the intake after the TB. Maybe it's the 5.7's that are a little different...not sure. In any event, my TB was spotless after 15k miles. The back of my intake manifold was coated with a junky brown layer and had some free oil laying on the bottom. Hopefully this is all done with now.
Yea everyones settup is different but rest assured check it in about 2 weeks and see how much oil you will have captured.
Big 10-4 there. The discoloration on the back wall of my intake reminded me of varnish...it didn't really want to come off easily.
