niles? that a home wide receiver...6 room type stuff. we use them to install in entire homes, not just for an entertainment room...ie living or family room. are you saying that you run amps with this 6 room receiver? if so you must be running a helluva a system for 600 rms...seeing how each channel (of 12) runs less than 40 watts rms.

i run a pioneer elite system in my apartment with jbl array series speakers...i push around 120 per channel to my lowly 47" lcd. im poor though and cant afford hd or bluray stuff.

my reciever can run 2 seperate rooms. it cost me around $1k. there are other ones from them that can run like 6 rooms!

i only have living room setup. and because only one room /channel is being uses, i can drop the ohms. (from 8 to 4-i think) a friend used to work for niles in ft myers(or ft lauterdale or something like that) when i used to live in miami.

it only has the ability to run 14 channels at 50 each i think, so (totaling like 700 i believe) but i changed the settings and some speakers get more watts than others.

it was put in by me but set up by my friend that used to work for them. i have to call him whenever my power goes out and the settings are lost(i should have spent the extra$150 for the sd card option to save the settings)
