I would be in as well...but we're expecting our new little one April 1stish and if he or she is anything like our first....they will like to arrive a couple weeks early. Wife probably wouldn't care for the fact I'm drag racing and she's left shouting, "BASTARD!!" in a delivery room. I'll see if I can make it though! lol
It'd be cool if you could make it. Offer stands. Unfortunately, I'm not the boss. Currently it's for the LX platform, Hemi-engined cars only. I'm guessing if a fast SRT-4 wanted to show up, they won't bar the door though. You interested in coming? I'll try to get you in.
UPDATE: ALL SRT vehicles are invited. We want to see the best and fastest of all of them. SRT-4's, Vipers, SRT-10's, and SRT-8's. I just hung up with the track. We're first of the season, and the track will be brand newly prepped from end to end. Already have 30 signed up. Need 60 TOTAL. Capped at 100 MAXIMUM. So please - if you're within range of Indy (250 miles or so is a day trip) come on out! I could also use help getting the word out in the Viper/SRT-10/SRT-4 world. So please spread the word and help me invite your other SRT friends.
Check out the growing list! We've got some SRT-4's signed up - including an NHRA champion who happens to drive an SRT-4!!!!! Let's not challenge him in any bracket races.
PAYMENT DETAILS: If you have signed up, please call the following to make payment: (317) 965-SRT8 Ask for Aaron. (He's AA7Viper on the list) Aaron will run your credit card (any major card) for $50, and e-mail a receipt. To track this, Aaron needs to know: Your name Your screen name What kind of car e-mail address to send receipt. He'll track who's paid and give me updates. You can also send me a PM, or post in the thread once you've made your payment. There are no payments at the gate. As a closed event, you just arrive with your receipt and go through tech. Let me know of any questions. Thank you.
Confirmed with Rachel: WE WILL BE ATTENDING. Just got off the phone with Aaron. We're gonna take care of payment first thing in the AM. Now I'm off to find a hotel....
took the car out today for the real first time since the cmr tune. decided to do some pre-shootout off the line practice near my house. damn there's alot of cops on the streets now a days. sort of sucks. got a radar detector, but doesn't mean much if he can see the smoke coming from behind the car, followed by a 1/4 mile run. anyway had a lot of fun. cannot wait for this event. its going to be bad.
No you don't. Just tell tech you run 14's. When you get to the line put the helmet on and the track officials won't know the difference. FWIW my helmet is expired too, tech saw it, said it's expired, and they didn't even care.
Man you're sneaky. LOL Which SRT are you bringing? We've got at least one SRT-10 truck coming, maybe 2 or 3.
I've decided I'm brining my 300. I need a new clutch/Slave/Flywheel if I ever intend to race it with decent results. Guys with RC SRT-10's know exactly what I'm referring to. The truck would just shift too slow for me to even break 14's without a new clutch/slave/flywheel.
Kevan....Gary will bring you that Pink helmet that was next to the Pink 4 wheeler in the shop............. VV90.... Kevan won't run a 14 unless he cleans all the mud out from under that field truck. He is from Ohio, like me so he might still have snow tires on in March. Hope to see you there guy's. JMatt, I sent you a PM on the other site....hope to work things out, look forward to meeting you guys in Indy.
Snow tires are for tossers and sheep-shaggers. Pink helmet? FANTASTIC! I already have a purple one.
JMatt.... I have had a few people ask on another site what it would cost for spectators...parking etc ? They just want to enjoy the day wishing they had SRT's
