Well the s3/18g and the 50/60 trims I just don't put on the same level and I don't expect to surpass them in power at all that's not the idea. I just seem to notice a lot of people like the power delivery and spool of the s3 turbos so if there's a cheaper alternative than a s3 kit to get those characteristics a s3 can give you plus some, that it might be a decent idea that people could want. Since there are no 18g kits and hahn seems to suck for our cars, I want to see if the 18g could be that alternative possibility.

Obv a 50/60 will make more power but a lot of people like what the s3 has to offer as far as power delivery and quicker spool, plus if you put a s3 turbo/mani up for sale, someone will always grab it even though bigger turbo kits are readily available, so I figure why not work with that demand. Everyone likes their own thing but an extra alternative couldn't hurt and I think it could make a good middle ground between the s3 and 50 trim.

Just got the March Modified magazine...nice write up on an '03 srt-4 with a Hahn Racecraft 20g. In the Readers' Rides section there are a few srt-4s pictured and a couple of neons.

go figure, a kid in my old town in CT just bought sound performance's supra. 1520whp@59psi and he's 19. Knowing him, that thing will be crashed very soon unfortunatley.

That supra sounds like it belongs to a professional race car driver.

it does. The kid had an sti with costworth internals that he bought that way. He beat the living crap out of that thing, he managed to bust the sti tranny on the stock turbo and you have to be talented to do that. So he builds a shep tranny, 35r, the works and was in so much debt with that car his parents made him sell it. So what does his parents do? Tell him to trade his sti + cash for the supra. I wish my parents bought me an sti and then kicked in tens of thousands of dollars to afford a 70k 1500whp supra...I'm not jealous I just hate to see a supra like that in the hands of a 19 y/o kid who doesn't deserve it and will probably crash it.
