Agree with the visual impact. Bling is important. Some of the best in Viper engineering have looked for gains from CAI but never been very successful...the oem box works well. The looks and sound are usually much better with the aftermarket boxes, and most should be satisfied with those alone. And I for one, will not want one...those that plan on Forced Induction should avoid the side-step to CAI. The paint and construction look wonderful.
Actually Roy.... A CAI setup *for* the Roe TMTS would be ideal. The air filter setup Roe currently has for the TMTS isn't getting as much air as it could. Just a thought.
I think there is one that has been tried...but there are no numbers to support the install, that I have seen.
I'd be curious to see some testing with that setup. The TMTS is awesome to begin with; getting it more (cold) air would probably increase it's awesomeness.
True, but you can go to the slammer with 150hp just as easily. Why not get there even faster with 525HP? :whistle:
I think you should change the name on the Jeeps to BWhistle, I love the sound it makes right before each shift I actually was asked if it was supercharged because of the high pitched whistle noise it makes
