Today we dyno-tuned another CIS Turbo on a Dodge Charger. This run was with 4.5 psi. The first plot is a stock SRT8 against the 5.7 Charger on 4.5psi. This next plot is a stock 5.7 against a 5.7 with 4.5psi and another 5.7 with 6.5psi, hp only. Here is the tq from the same run.
The Turbo is a T3/T4 hybrid Turbo which is the reason for the massive TQ. We give up some top end hp with the smaller T3 hot side, but we more than make up for it in the tq which is what these heavy cars need.
Its a SuperT70, and it is journal bearing. Ball-Bearing isnt needed on V8 especially with a singly turbo. We have full boost by 3300rpm and 400rwtq by 3,000rpm. this turbo with a 3000 stall converter will be very nice.
