picked up the newest issue of HOTROD Magazine, Challenger on the cover...... well after reading what they had to say about the Challenger i kept looking through the magazine, and there it was on page 48! In big black bold letters "THE RETURN OF AMC!" Shows a bunch of realllllllllllllllllllllllly nice concept drawings of what they are planning on producing! Javelin concept...hard top and convertible, Matador, Ambassador (looks like two versions), Grimlin, Pacer, and one hell of an AMX!! with a posibly V12 with 9 speed paddle shifting!!! The AMX concept renderings look like your classic AMX mixed with an exotic!

Yeehaw! I had a Javelin. My parents had a Marlin, a Pacer (for a short amount of time), and a Gremlin :woot:

I'll tell you what. That Gremlin was really unique. Possibly one of the ugliest cars ever from the outside but just amazing to drive. Yes, slow, you needed a 1/4 mile to get up to freeway speed but... it was just HUGE inside. It was about as wide as a car could get. It also weighed about as much as our cars so the ride was solid to say the least. And quiet. Pretty low to the ground so it actually handled better than you expected as well. It was green and visibility was like riding in a bubble (except for the rear pillars).
