The first run was bone stock. The second pull was a bone stock car tuned, the third run, we added a cai and CAI tune, the fourth run, we added the 90mm tb and tuned for it. We did all of this in the course of 2 hours, so yes there is even more power to get out of this unit. Keep in mind that this is a prototype and the production unit may perform even better. This was all done on a bone stock intake manifold. This is a gain of 47rwhp/52rwtq from a CAI/Tune/90mm TB. There isnt a better bang for the buck out there.

wow, so really looking at 17 hp.........all this on a stock manifold as well i am assuming??? really looking forward to seeing price levels. if this is coming with a tune and a means to connect our existing cai up to it, i may be first in line to get one!!!!

    Thanks for using SAE.

The stock dyno looks to be on the low end of the spectrum, and though 18rwhp is believable, you gained 30rwtq from a tune alone?
I'm having a hard time believing you gained 17rw from the TB alone (especially seeing that 80mm is really large enough for a 370CI stock longblock motor) but if someone else backs up the numbers I'll be glad to eat crow and place an order.

We have another stock srt8 that dynoed at 358rwhp. Assuming 18% driveline loss, 355rwhp would be 430crank hp which would make it about 10hp high. Sounds to me like maybe you visit a loose dyno.

Really, I'm not trying to give you shit at all. I said the gains were impressive and if they're repeatable I'll definitely take one (or more), also IMO 30rwtq SAE is a large gain from a tune only. Take it FWIW and try not to stroke out Andy.

Most LX SRT8s I've seen dyno put down 360-370rwhp SAE, and I'm not talking about on the dyno I use. For reference my Jeep put down 355rw SAE bone stock on the DJ I use. No stock longblock N/A LS6/LS2 (even with every bolt-on in the book) has ever broken 400rw on the dyno I use either.
If you actually read and understood what I said "looks to be on the low end of the spectrum" you'd reallize that translates into: The lower end of normal.

Most LX's that go to the dyno have at least a catback and CAI giving them the extra 5-15hp you are seeing. There are not that many people that have taken their bone stock SRT8's to a dyno.

Are you serious? If so, I'd call that a large assumption on your part. Unless you know the skinny on every LX SRT8 on the planet...

Anyway, when do you forsee the 90mm TB being ready for release? Again, anything on the UD pulleys? Will the balancer be SFI?

    Thanks

yes the underdrive is SFI approved. Both could be available inside of 12 weeks.

Awesome, I'll take one of each then. Shooting for the most stock longblock N/A power/torque possible until I swap on my H/C package.

    Thanks

You'll have to excuse me as the last half dozen or so posts I've seen you make were in relation (in a negative fashion) to me. :thanks:

I do to. I'm very interested in these systems and am getting steadily angrier at PPP for emptying my wallet.
