LOL. Dude - it's all smack talk. I'm even the moderator of the Arcade Smack talk forum here.

I for one, can't wait to see your project finished and tearing up the track. :good:

Bearings are cheap. hard to get to but cheap. If your comeback is a magnetic drain plug is fine for you. OK, I was just raising the question if you were going to look or not. I guess not.

Humm ok thats good for the ferious parts but what about bits of maybe alumium or titanium ? As I recall a magnetic drain plug wont catch those.

After all that work getting Chris's ride straight I wuld pull the motor as a percaution to make sure there isn't a problem.

I appreciate everyne having my back on the metal shavings. I think thats a bit harsh to say "Metal Shavings" My retainers were getting hit by my rocker arms, I would say that theres some dings and scratches on them. There not missing metal. I dont think theres anything to worry about and my Motor is warrantied for 1yr BTW from Josh. And if Josh says its ok I have to trust him. No matter how many times I question his ways it always comes out that he was right.

Chris as long as you are happy with it that is all that matters but there are things that will NOT be caught by a magnet and I just wanted to remind him of that.

Josh could very well be right. I just raised the question. I haven't seen any pictures posted of how much they wore. So from this side of the fence I'm just speculating.
Since Josh is holding the warrenty. It's his jugment call.
Myself,,, I would have to know.

I'm very well aware of titanium's non magnetic ability. My remark was meant in humor not to be taken professionally. If the bearings truly are wiped, and my oil pressure reads below what we started at then I will build it bigger, faster, and stronger. Till then I have nothing to worry about.
