After a day of 11.50's at E-town this weekend I lined up against the HHP 426 in the final round.Come off the line with a nice 1.65 60' and finish up with an [email protected] knew the pull felt strong but until I got my slip and the kid told me to go to the tower........uh oh!When I got to the tower they asked if I had a cage..."not yet" I told them......"well we have to disqualify your run since the car is not legal for that time".I was almost pissed to be stripped of a first place finish till it hit me that I was penalized for going to fast........lol. That's awesome. That's EXACTLY the conversation I can't wait to have. I keep saying I can't wait to get my timeslip, and be told I can't go that fast without a rollcage. Congrats to you for having that conversation!!!

Running 275/50/17 M&H dragradials and Driveshaft Shop axles.......the cool part is the car has a full interior.....race weight with me in it was 4505 and we had a 20-25 mph headwind.....and I still wasn't spraying right off the line.I know I have more but I won't see it till Spring......and then there will be some more surprises.If I gotta do a cage I may as well make good use of it:angel:
nice run boss. thats like being kicked out of a beauty pageant for looking too good! which of course lx's also do.
Great run Erik. Sucks I couldnt b there to make it. If you add a roll cage you might as well add the extra HP to keep you at 11.4 or greater with the added weight from it.
