Also prime example is the HybridKid meet which 2 months away. Everyone has known ahead of time. Even if it were announced now/today, its still 2 months away. So there's plenty of notice and everyone is aware.

Here's the chance to be at an awesome meet which supposely is better then the Orlando picnic, yet so far we (Cheryl and I) are the only one's seriously going. I already paid today. Yes, I am scheduled to work that day. But I'm taking off... 2 months is plenty of notice. That's my effort, I make effort.

Some are talking about going, having a Tampa convoy, yaddie yaddie ya ya. I'll believe it when I see it. Months back I would have believed it, because its been done. But like I said since the Orlando meet, I've seen little to no effort on the other events we had till now and since the Orlando meet.

Here's a BIG meet that's 2 months away with plenty of notice. Let's see who from around here actually goes. Its $10 per person plus the cost of gas.

Seriously, not even that would work. Even if it weren't every SRT in Tampa and just a few. When the day comes majority will back out at the last minute.

Example, Ozzy and I have been to the Lakeland meet 2-3 times to change it up a bit on Saturday nights. Just me and Ozzy from this area. Where was everyone else?

I'll tell you where they were... drinking, partying, Sonics and saying, "Too far of a drive". Yet, to my surprise those same people are going all the way out there past the Lakeland meet to Winter Haven to have parts installed. Makes no sense to me because if that's the case then they could go to the Lakeland meet no problem.

So see, that's what I mean by effort. By no way am I trying to start an argument just comparing events that have taken place which is between benefiting some/caring about themselves vs being as one SRT community.

$10.00 per person which I believe pays for food and drinks. It says it in the thread. I have to read it again.

as far as I know there are only a few companies that make kits for our cars. Wilwood which ranges from I think 700-1300 or so. Stoptech which is around 1300 or so, Rotora which is about the same and then 3r offers a special brembo package but you're looking at 5000+ for front and rears. That's ballpark off the top of my head though.

I support whatever decision you make Jesus. Trust me I want bbk's volks the whole 9 I just think the rotor/pad/lines setup will accomplish what you need for the time being and at a cheaper cost because I know you got bills and other stuff to pay off as well. Let me know what you get I want to be there when it goes on.

:dancing: awesome! I am leaning more towards the slotted rotors, hawk pads and ss lines. Will let you know when I get it, will be a few months but before the year end. That's my goal for this year.

Bills suck... my tax return will go to pay off some credit cards so I reduce some of my debt. I'm forcing myself to use it on that... as much as I rather buy parts for the car.

again, my buddy's 50 trim spools like stock, i shit you not when i say this thing hits boost at 2700-2900 RPMs, the thing pulls fucking HARD.
if you want i'll try and get him to come out maybe he can give you a ride....

again, he's had his 50 Trim kit for over 35k daily driven on his motor with NO ISSUES......just an idea or a direction to go, in the end it's your decision, just do what makes you happy bro!

he must have one hell of a 50 trim, I've not once been in a 50 trim car that spooled remotely close to stock and the quickest spooling one didn't have much of a beefy midrange just straight top end that pulled hard as hell, and Franks really was at low boost and untuned so that doesn't count either. Yeah def come out to riverview one time with him, I want a ride in this. Not trying to be a pita, I just can't see stock like spool on a 50 trim

Oh I know, I've seen both ends of the spectrum. I've heard people with no issues, others blew something up. My goal is something small like a 16g or an 18g. And 18gs as far as I know don't exist in a kit for our car and aside from the rare s3 turbo/mani or the expensive s3 kit on national backorder the only 16g i know if is hahn and I haven't heard a good thing about them yet

i think it's the 48, he told me that all he did was polish(not port and polish just polish) the exhaust side of the turbo manifold and he was able to spool alot quicker.....

did he get it recently? I ask because recently those .48 50 trims have become very popular, people used to avoid them before.

well, i'm not saying i dont agree with you to an extent. hopefully some of the events that are coming up, like the hybrid kid picnic, and plus jasons events that he is trying to plan go through.

i just dont put as much focus on having every srt in the surrounding areas at every event. if we plan something, then lets do it. if everybody doesnt come, then oh well. yeah, its frustrating bc we know alot of each other and for the most part, enjoy each others company.

the tbsg meet was great. i miss the hell out of the sampler there. maybe we need to make like a quarterly event. like a picnic, or something along those lines. each time, do it in a different area to try to accomodate everybody.

you cant make every happy all the time, so, if you can make some of the people happy some of the time, that will work for me.

i know your frustration man. we have talked about it too many times. maybe we can sit down as a group and try to plan a quarterly big meet for everybody.

The sad part is that TBSG has a HUGE parking lot. Chris could really hold a BIG meet there if he wanted to. The food there IS very good. I love their pizza too!
On Sundays most of the businesses in that plaza are closed so if we held a big meet there no one would bother us.
Maybe we can bring back that meet. I'll talk to him soon. I still try to stop by there to talk to Chris every 2-3 weeks. I like it there and always get treated well.
