it would be a nice addition and you wouldnt have to worry with them ever breaking in a hard cornering situation. they are much larger then the stock units
Hmm. I've not heard of endlinks breaking on any lx before. I would guess the only advantage in handle is that your bushing are urethane instead of rubber. So that may be the reason for a firmer ride and maybe a little less body lean. But my understanding is the endlinks don't get most of the workload its the spring shocks and sway bars in turns. Tell me if I'm wrong.
BWoody doesn't make a CAI for the 300C SRT8, only the Charger/Jeep. So far no one from AH will send me or anyone else one of their CAIs to test on a Jeep. I know the BWoody CAI gained 16 or 17rw SAE over a stock Charger setup.
I can't comment on the Hotchkis sway bars you have because I have no experience with them. However the difference between a stock end link vehicle and one equipped with BWoody's links is night and day. There is significantly less roll in corners, less slop in the wheel (even when going straight) and turn in is much more crisp. I realize this isn't exactly an objective form of testing but post install on my Jeep I could run 5-7mph faster around the same highway off ramp before my tires would squeal than when I was stock. Also, allflashnocash has a similarly modded Jeep as mine, except he didn't have the links. We swapped rides for a few miles so he could feel the difference, he felt it immediately and so did I. He now has a set. For the money they are one of the best mods out there as you can literally feel and enjoy the difference even when you're not beating on the car/Jeep.
Oh really, charger, magnum and 300 are basically the same under the hood. The charger may have a few more inches of space near the headlights but thats it.
Thanks for your personal feelings about the endlinks. Maybe if I get to drive one with and without it like yourself then I will be sold. But until then I'm a skeptic about it.
edit: It will fit the Magnum and 300C SRT8s as well. There will be a back to back Airhammer v BWoody CAI dyno on an LX in the next two weeks. Results will be posted for all to see.
I'm happy to hear. I was about to send my airhammer to bwoody so they can do a comparison test. I guess I can save my $40 in shipping and read the results on the board. Thanks for the info.
I just purchased the BWoody's links after driving my buddies srt-8. Huge difference. There is significantly less roll in corners, the wheel is more responsive and as a result it gives you more confidence in the jeeps abilities.
