I haven't yet but I could. Do you know what the shaft dia is? Also if you check out the mounted ones on my site, do you think they would clear the dash and console on your Neon? Keep in mind the shaft goes in at an angle to the rear. Let me know if there is a chance and then I'll see about finding a local Neon to test. Thanks for your interest!
Howdee, The Neon shift knob does not thread on, it is held in place with a spring clip. If you need to see a Neon SRT4 short throw shifter, come on by and I will get you one off the shelf.
