Checking to see if anyone has either of these setups:

    - RB1 + (factory) UConnect + Chrysler iPod Kit.
    - RB4 + (factory) UConnect + Chrysler iPod Kit.

If anyone runs either of these setups, let me know how it's hooked up in your ride.

    Thanks!

I have the 5disc Navi System, the UConnect and the Intergrated iPod kit ...

All works great, functionality is great with the iPod kit once you get to know it, easy to go back to the nav or connect a phone call while listening to the iPod.

Let me know if you have any questions ...

CoolFlo- You have the REC or the RB1/RB4?
Is your UConnect factory-installed, or did you get it after you bought the 300?

Keith- I remember the install quite well:

    :-D

Maybe we can use your RB1 w/iPod kit as a test unit, and see if it works with the factory-installed UConnect.
If we blow up your RB1, I'll buy ya a new one. LOL

RB1 - iPod - UConnect - any other accessory (Sirius or VES or CD Changer)
If more than 1 additional accessory, then you need a multiplexor.

Now this is only for the PCI bus systems.

    Thanks Ted.

Just to be clear: that's the factory-installed UConnect, correct?

Yes, that would be the factory UConnect.
The iPod would be the last thing in the chain going to the radio, or the first coming from the radio.

    Thanks for the clarification, Ted.

Anyone know if there are any features lost when adding the RB1 and/or iPod kit?
    - Steering Wheel Controls?
    - Display differences?
    - Same 1-2 sec. delay when answering the phone via UConnect?

The iPod uses the Sirius channels, that would be the only thing that is lost. So if you do not have Sirius, then you will not lose anything and no operation differences with UConnect.
