I posted this on the Cherokee site and no one has gotten it correct yet.
So any gear heads here? This is a part of our engines (or was).

Damn, all my posts are a day late/dollar short. I think that Moapr didn't do their homework. There are a couple areas of concern with the stroker. One is of course this, Stu found out long ago, the squiters had to be removed. I would imagine that PPP does as well. Also, the block oil return ports need to be machined/grinded out for clearance too.

Interesting, I hope there was no more damage. Good luck 7.

Well I have to pull the oil pan for several reasons, first to install lower compression pistons, second because the crate 392 comes installed with a Chrysler 300 oil pan stock and I need the Jeep oil pan. And third to replace the oil noisy squirters with new ones.

The engine was run in a test cell at Stanton racing when they built it. I see where the clearnace between the rod and the piston has no margin for error(IE if the piston comes down and hits the tube and bends it down the connecting rod will slam it the other way.)

Notice how all my other tubes while not broken have signs of rod contact

maybe that's to shake the oil out of the tube. You know, like... never mind
