I just bought a set of 9006 HID's and a wiring harness from Marcel to replace my Xenonlink low beam set. There was FM interference with my Xenonlink kit that made the radio unusable. Light on, static. Lights off, good radio reception.

I ordered the harness and I have questions.

    1. The Xenonlink relay harness left the factory passenger side headlamp plug vacant. (There is no place or nothing to plug it into) Does this harness do the same?

    2. Are these Bosch bulbs of a better quality or are they all the same?

    3. Anyone else have radio interference with an HID install? I know I am grounded properly, I also changed the guage of the ground wire and increased the size of metal to metal contact.

    Thanks for the input.

Have you already installed the TLS HID's and Harness? The reason I ask is that I am familiar with your interference issue and was curious to see if the new HID's corrected the issue.

Hope ALL is well for you J.

Thanks. I just ordered them today, I'm just preparing. My wife was using my car and said, "your radio sucks, get it fixed". I didnt want to tell her its because I bought some $135 headlight bulbs off the internet.

xenonlink sent me, free of charge, 2 "noise arrestor" cable harness. They did nothing and one actually had the connector polarity reveresed from end to end. I repaired, as that side bulb would not light. I actually think there is more static since I installed the new static reducing parts.

I just thought it was time to pick up the pieces and move on. The lights work fine, no flickering, no drama. I just cant listend to FM radio if they are on!!!

Fog lights next. Those, without the relay harness, when turned on, make the radio sound like an old Ford fuel pump. I dont even use them.

j - i first used the kits with the relay and yes, it left one oem plug unused. i had flicker issues and marcel stepped up my ballasts (rons as well) with some stronger ballasts for the low beams and i do not need the relay anymore. very sweet set up and very easy install without the relay!!! only issue i ran across is the oem plugs are wired backwards to how the ballasts are made in regards to the little "clip" on the oem plug. if you plug the oem plug into the ballast like you think it should with the clip, they do not work, the wires are backwards. i just cut off the "clip" on the oem plug and turned it around and plugged it back into the ballast. all is good and they work like a champ!!! same for the fogs as well! no radio issues at all!!!

    Thanks Legmaker.
I had to do that for the Xenonlink lights also. The relay harness came with he polarity reversed for the Jeep connectors.

I put the factory lights back and i brought the car in for a recall. I told them the radio reception was horrible, they claimed to have checked the connection to the antenna and they gave me a new head unit.

Still, I put the HID's back in and I get static on the FM channels.

Marcel - The posts above are a little confusing and cryptic.

Do I need to be concerned with an RF filter with your kit or is this not a concern? Xenonlink sent me a filer of some sort, but it was an in-line application, not a wire wrap or sheath.
