Christine is only about 15 mos. old with 13k. Ive been noticing my battery runs down easily. The dealer says there is no dead cell. Today when I opened the door to get in. I heard a electrical humm or buzz that lasted about 2 seconds.Not very loud, sounds like its comming from the dash. I can make it happen most times when first entering. I undid all my electric mods but no change. This must be the source of power bleed that is causing my battery to fail. Before I go to the dealer and let them rip appart my dash looking, I thought I'd see if any of you guys had heard of this before
I would say that it is the subwoofer heartbeat issue which is the Sunroof Conrtol Module issue. There is a TSB. I think that it describes symptoms more than just the subwoofer heartbeat. I believe that what Howdee is describing is one of those other symptoms. I have the same problem but I have not had it addressed yet either.

What is that? Come to think of it, I heard the sub pop when I was in the trunk preparing to recharge the battery, Key was not even on.

Howdee, my car is being stored in the garage...anyways my battery died because of this heartbeat. Charged it. They flashed the sunroof module but now the sunroof doesn't work...have to bring it back in with the stock tune...(didn't think to return it back to stock)...but I don't know or think if the Pred tune had anything to do with it...will keep you updated when I bring it in again.
YeahMilan, I have to quick change my tune early before my dealer app. tomorrow. Did you notice any change in the canned tune after they reflashed?
One Of My Old Buddies Had A Problem Like That, It Ended Up Having To Do Something With The Gage Cluster...
Absolutely no change in the performance of the car..just the sunroof is not opening...stangely enough...it open up on the first setting but won't slide back. I would have added this complaint to their to-do list the other day but knew I should swap the stock tune back in....I'm just hoping they didn't cut anything! Doh!
