New revision 8r19 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The new revision is available on our website. This revision includes support for 08 models, and also has improved tunes across the board. This revision also includes a new QA parameter for gear ratio. The gear ratios listed are currently the 6.1 and 5.7 ratios, more will be added as they become available. This revision also includes the fix for the AWD issues experienced by some. This new revision includes support for all the new calids recently released by Chrysler, so most 07 and some 08 vehicles will be prompted to perform a calibration update. Please be sure to restore your original backup before updating the Predator!!
How do the new revisions effect a custom tune? or do they? If I restore my original backup, get the revision, then load my e-mail custom tune, does anything change? Just wondering.:tomato:
+1, unless your just curious as to what its all about, but if you happy with your CMR just leave well enough alone I have not done an update since r16 which I kept as it will extend your shift points past 6100 on the 1/2 shift (for those of you who did not know that)
That's the one downside I can see to the predator, at least while updates are coming out every month or so. If they change the tunes and add/change a function I want to use I can't update without going back on the dyno.
I dont think anything from Diablo can touch what a CMR tuner can do unless you mean they open up more tuning options for the CMR guys that could of netted you some more power, I think I'm following you
Diablo is optimizing for everyone and 91 octane......A CMR performed on a dyno with ones specific mods and the engine underload will net you the most optimum performance.
New tune installed-Lost 250RPM on 1-2 shift, t-case noise still present when disable-ing trac-control, TM is more present on shifts(?)...Goin back to 16a, tyvm.
I updated mine this morning and havent noticed too much besides it feels like it shifts harder under normal acceleration but that might be the adaptives relearning.
If anything, the Predator is a great medium for installing an internet CRM B&G tune along with data logging to help Dave dial it in. It's a must have in my book.
Without Dave, the predator is just a little green thing sitting in my truck, granted I have a lot of mods done to my vehicle, but without Dave the Predator and the canned tunes included were, to me, useless...
Alright if you wanna get technical, mine is a tealish/greenish/blue, with a ghetto green screen lol.....hell why couldnt they just make it black....Can we get different faceplates with revision r20?? lease: lol
