Cam, you were right about the 2nd tbody causing both to close down. I saw it plainly using my Predator. You could see the A/F just stairstepping down in third gear.

BTW: I am bringing mine own DA just in case. I haven't used it in a long time. Gonna borrow Meisters slicks. That will be a big enough shot in the arm.

There will be at least a couple GSM cars, maybe more that will be capable of 10's.

I believe that everyone should be running full interiors. Stripping them to pick up a few tenth's is BS IMHO. These are street cars and should run as a street car. I'm spotting some of these drivers 100 to 150 lbs, and our buddy Ron from NorCal is spotting them even more if I remember right.

there isnt going to be anyone running record setting times if the track isnt prepped, but I cant promise that we wont do some extreme lightening to race Trojan. I dont know what his secrets are, so we have to be prepared for whatever. Our car is a daily driver, but it only takes 10 minutes to pull the seats out. Everyone enjoys racing in their own way, we like seeing the maximum capability of these cars, saying that you cant pull interiors out is like saying you cant run high octane fuel, or drag radials since you dont use those on an everyday basis. I think those that try to put restrictions on racing do so because they feel they will not be able to compete otherwise. PPP and HOP have agreed to a no rules race where anything goes, we will not limit the capability of the car. I know this sounds really mean and harsh and i am sorry about that, I just think its funny that no matter what we do at a track its never up to someones standards. First it was the whole PPP must be spraying n2o, now that we have proved that be untrue, we are shedding too much weight. For this to be test-n-tune racing with no actual class allot of people sure do try and put restrictions on it. The truth is that we haved raced several times with full interiors and it only slows us down by about .05, but we still do it incase we run an 11.05 we dont have to say shoulda woulda coulda. If you look at the fastest "street" mustangs, camaros, etc, I gurantee that have completely stripped interiors and may even have fiberglass doors and lexan glass.

we could always add weight back after we beat Trojan. Do they have a scale there? If so, I say we all equal up the weights to see what package is really making the most power.

Red... hmmm I run 101 Daily and my DR's when the weather is nice.
Blue... Kind of a "I think I am better than most" statement there. I absolutely REFUSE to strip my interior or do any other weight reduction to my car. I would rather be able to tell others that I hit 11's at 4480lb race weight than say I had to strip her down to obtain a certain time. So I actually take offense to that as I am sure others do as well.

Now, if all goes the way I hope for the Spring Festival, I will be getting in on this lil ol competition and will be running on my 22's. hmmmmm Betcha I can hang if not beat a few. hehe Of course this all depends on my tune.

Thanks for your opinion, but I'll will tell you what I think, if I can pull 150# outta my car in 10-15 minutes I will at the track, because it is about the time slips. Thats it, no matter the DA, cars weight or what ever as long as your honest in what you report when you set a record thats all that matters.

Go have fun racing in the slow bracket. ;)

The festival/show part is Saturday in Irvine, the pissing contest I mean racing is on Sunday in Fontana. I'll be skipping Fontana, since the idea of being near a track, smelling the burnt rubber and race gas and not being able to race will make me MISERABLE. So yeah, you'll see me Saturday. :bigwink:
