With the success of the Diablo programmer and many F/I and nitrous options now being available it is imminent that people are going to be needing some serious fuel system upgrades very soon. Does anyone know of anything that is available or will be soon IE Rails, lines, pump, and injectors?? I know Boosters and injectors are right now but what else??

    rails be intoduced soon Dave.

Fuel lines can be done at anytime, but what we need to look into is Fuel Pumps. What works and what doesn't.

I am sure that many of our vendors are probably already conducting these experiments and will have answers in the near future.

    great question.

I'm installing a Kenne Bell Boost-a-pump this week. Several people have already gone this route to good result.

Because my fuel needs come through nitrous intead of the fuel rails and injectors, I avoid a lot of the additional issues you big boy motors will face.

I have no issues. I have the MSD boostapump (as you know lol) and all is good.

I actually think our fuel system is good up to 800 - 850 BHP, but don't hold me to that number as I could be wrong. lol

I have been putting parts together for increasing the capacity of my system. I have fuel rails, a regulator, fuel lines (8 AN supply and 6AN return) and a Walbro 255 pump (direct replacement for stock pump). I have an extra Walbro pump and I will see if I can modify the fuel bucket so I can install it in there. That would provide 510 LPH. That should be more than enough fuel.

I currently have the stock system and a Boost-A-Pump installed (in preparation for forced induction). If I can't easily install the 2nd fuel pump, I may just use the Boost-A-Pump on the Walbro I install. This should effectively increase capacity 50% on the Walbro to apprx 380 LPH. Still should be plenty of fuel.

Yea I have the injectors, but I didn't know of the rails, however there are some other Hiperformance ones o the mopar super center site. Very soon we will be needing bigger pumps, lines, and filters though.

Yup that all comes w the territory..The Mopar rails are nice too, just alot pricier, actually the funy thing is the Mopar guys were suggesting using the CPR rails over the Mopar ones for high HP apps at PRI, I beleive the CPR rails were used in the Mopar Drift cars.

Well I did rails and injectors and all 8an lines to the fire wall.

I did the lines mostly for the looks, and the injectors because I am at the edge of mine so I went with the 39# fords so I have some room if I decide to drop in a short block.

I am also looking to have the factory pump tested to see what it can do. I would imagine we will need to change the fuel line at some pint soon, thats an awful small line to supply big power numbers.

I agree, maybe I'm just being pessimistic but I find it hard to believe our fuel system can handle a whole lot more .

The OEM pump is rated at 179 Liters. With a 3/8 inch diameter line there isn't alot of wiggle room for extra fuel to support major horsepower additions.
