So I take my SRT8 out of the garage and im driving on the BQE, mind you there doing construction. So im just driving along and I hear this weird bang noise on my drivers side, I really did not think much of it until I got back home and looked on the drivers side. The drivers side mirror had what looked like a small bird dropping on it, as I looked closer to see what it really was, it was a HUGE rock chip which not only chipped the shell but also cracked it. MOTHERFUC*ER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!@#@%&(&*&@ SCU*BAG CONSTRUCTION PRICKS, 4 GODAMN YEARS ALREADY FINISH THE FU*KING ROADWAY ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :wallbash::wallbash: Now I have to order another side mirror, heated, power etc and after that I have to send it back to Florida to Viper Graphix to have it painted and have the ghost flames redone. BTW its $348 list im getting it for $240 from my dealer connection, I guess I could be kind of happy about that, happy fuc*ing weekend. I have not had 1 drink and im already out $240 :wallbash::drunk:
damn tony, that sucks big time!!!!! soooooo, you use richard for your paint work as well!!!! he has done a couple of things for me too!!! hahahaha
Thanks guys, I mean its only cosmetic but it still sucks. Yea Chris he is the BEST IMHO, back to Viper Graphix when I get the new mirror.
yeppers, richard is the man when it comes to paint and graphics!!! i am just lucky to live somewhat near him!!!!
Damn T, your luck's gotta change sometime soon! Hopefully that means a low 12 at the strip when it opens. Sorry to hear it man!
I feel your pain... Which if you know my story, was a long uphill battle that started when the first spy shots of the SRT8 came out... anyway, within 3 months I had the following occur: 1. Rock flies over the hood, slams onto my rear spoiler and leaves a 2 inch GOUGE. 2. Something, somewhere, scratches 3/4 of my pass. side (1/2 inch streak). 3. Driving to GSM, a chunk of something flies off a vehicle ahead of me and hits my front-passenger side headlight housing (near the hood) and leaves 2 1/2 gouges. 4. Something hits the hood, near the windshield, and leaves a 2 inch scratch. 5. Something HITS my rear pass door and takes a divit out of it, down to metal.
If you can prove that it was caused by the work being done they have a complaint line and here it Texas the usually will pay to fix it
Go and gather a couple of rocks yourself get there and start throwing rocks and them!!! Those mother fokers!!! Sorry man.....
this is new york man, here they will take your ass to court for damaging their brick with your mirror.
ouch Time to start drinkin then! If it makes you feel anybetter.... My dad was using my mint f150 to pull his 50's Ford tractor to the shop. He loads up the tandem trailer and pulls it to the top of the driveway. He gets out and heads back to drive the tractor. The tractor is down behind the house a bit. He cranks up his tractor and is all happy (tractor does that for him). ...meanwhile back at the driveway.... He kinda forgets to put it in park, but it sat a bit level and wasn't moving when he got out. It slowly starts to move forward and picks up speed. It crosses the road and pops over enbankment on the other side. It proceeds to pick up speed flying down the terraced pasture on the otherside and lands about 1/8 mile down at the creek wedged in a bunch of trees. you can picture a large tandem trailer bucking around all the way down. now feel better!?
I fell your pain Tony. . . some asshat in a Honda Pilot swerved into my lane on my way home from work tonight and caused me to slam both of my right wheels into the curb, major F-ing damage to the right front. I followed the guy and got out at a red light, got him to pull over and got his info. Wish me luck fighting this a-hole over the repair money. Maybe I can convince his insurance company to pay me 6K for the wheels and get a new set of Davins Steve
