We tried a biweekly meet and monthly meet. That was TBSG (Tampa Bay Sports Grille) which died off. This was on a Sunday and in the late afternoon. I know most of us had/have Sunday's off and yet it was very little turnout to almost just 3 of us beingn there and that's it.

So I've already had my experience with an SRT only meet weekly, biweekly, monthly and it did not work. It takes effort to get a meet together and a meet to grow. Can't always put the burden on the one who started the meet. Word of mouth and pushing people in a polite manner comes a long way. What I'm trying to say is that for any meet to work EVERYONE needs to show some effort.

If you setup a meet and 2-3 people show and one of those people traveled an hour just to be there and see there's only 2 people there. That person will be upset and say, "I wasted my time". That person will then tell everyone they know in the area to not waste their time. Numbers, impressions is what gets people to keep coming back.

For a little bit we were having dinner at resturants on hillsborough then going to Causeway afterwards. That started burning holes in our pockets and I'm sure others. So it was going to Causeway and meeting there till Sonics was a "go" again. Now we don't even go to Causeway. Sonics has been going well.

Gas prices... don't pay attention to them. Chances of getting a ticket... exhaust maybe... not worried about it... I'll pay the ticket.

You want to know the money I spend just to go to Sonics and be there and come home? It's not even that much atleast I don't think so...
Gas = $20-30 (Fill up, depends where the needle is... I don't let it go below a quarter. This gas also last a few days so I would say I spend probably about $8 going and coming back home.)
Sonics Food = Less then $20... around $12-$14.

So really if I take the gas I spend going and coming and eating it will only be like $20-$22 a week.

so i was driving home from work today right.....just cruising, not gettin on the car, too tired to do it.........i stop at a light and i realize...."geez, my car sounds alot louder than it should....i wonder what it could be?", not to mention it was idling like crap.......

seeing that my gas needle was low, i pulled into a gas station to fill up, i figured, why not pop the hood and see what's going on...
well, i pull out my trusty little LED flash light(some of you have seen it, the little grey one) and i start to look around, and i notice my exhaust leak sounded an awful lot louder than it did yesterday....., when i look....low and behold.....my O2 housing is literally broken.......
now i have to get off my lazy ass tomorrow and put the stocker back on till i get my maxxfab one.....SHIT!!!!
BTW.....MPx O2 housings are trash......i don't recommend them to ANYONE!!!!!

Hmmm..just got home from school. Might stop by, but I'm super tired. I've been up since 5:45am.
I wonder how the crowd is there since they stopped the Thursday night car nights. Still a good place in my opinion.

Looks like Bush may give us a little less. Just saw on Fox news: $600 for single people and $1200 for married couples (rather than $800 and $1600). Free money is free money so I won't complain. :)
