it would be interesting if you could have the chrome striped and actually see the casting and I bet you will see alot of pitting in the wheel that the chrome covered up. .02
I did........I pm'd them over a month ago.They asked me to send pics and I did.To which they responded they would need to send them to the manufacturer since they are "only" the vendor and don't have anything to do with the warranty.I figured I'd post up and warn guys what could happen to their wheels.....stupid me!

My wheel issue has been resolved!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today I spoke with the owner of Factory Reproductions,the manufacturer of the Viper wheels.Apparently Bones Enterprises never even contacted them about my wheels to begin with.Turns out Bones hasn't been a vendor for Factory Reproductions since October......as soon as Factory Reproductions found out what my issue was they stepped up and made it right!I am so very impressed with this company.If you guys are looking into Vipers I would say go for it as they stand behind their product.......all the grief I had was nothing more than Bones Enterprises and their BS!
Thanks for the update Erik. I am glad to hear that they are taking care of your problem. The whole salt spray thing did not make sense to me. I grew up in Cleveland (road salt capital of the world back then). I always had chrome wheels and never took them off in the winter. They never pitted like yours. Also, I like the Viper wheels and I was looking at the competition grey or black ones but stepped back when I heard your problem.
