Just finished watching that too Larry! Wow. Jay Leno was speaking at the podium. Wow. The next car I think is the Concept Cuda built off the Charger chassis shortened by 4 inches with a 6.1 Hemi in it! Wonder what that will go for. Lambo orange paint...nice wheels, carbon fiber. Looked sweet. Love to have that thing in the stable....I couldn't believe how wide the tires were on the Zr-1 when they drove it away...looked AWESOME...!
2008 Challenger should be up in minutes if they go by lot #s....1330 just sold ..Challenger is 1331...

Wierd.... I started almost the same thread at almost the same time as Larry but in the "SRT Connection Lounge".....didn't think to use the "Site News">"News" forum. It was funny seeing John Schnieder STANDING ON TOP of General Lee (Standing on a $450,000 car) trying to get the crowd to follow along on the TV series theme song for "Dukes of Hazard" and nobody was singing along. I think he had had too much to drink.
He wasn't the final buyer, he was the seller, but the sell started out very slow and I wondered if his antics didn't effect that. I couldn't believe he was standing on the TOP of the car and for a long time. Anybody knows the top of a car isn't very sturdy and can be dented pretty easily especially scratched by shoes. His shoes even looked like they had steel taps on the front and rear.
