Gentelmen, Just a note that we can tune your DCX vehicle using either the DiabloPredator handheld with there CMR software or DCX XCaliber 2 handheld with the SCT Advantage software. And as always not all vehicles are supported by either company but we can offer direct computer tuning on all DCX 1996 and newer Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep vehicles including the new Challenger. Thanks for your support.

Any news on tuning a S/C'd vehicle without the Piggyback system?

We have done alot of vehicles using the GSM blower w/removing there piggyback system and tuning the pcm direct using the SRT4 injectors with good results and good driveability..Also we have tuned some turbocharged applications also in the 5.7L and 6.1L packages..Hope this helps..

Actually it does help. As for the SRT4 injectors I don't think I need them as I am currently using the MSD Boostapump. Keep in mind I have a 6.3L now on 12psi of boost.

    Dave -
I am a little confused, but also new to this. So please explain better to an idiot.....
I have your StageII flash, piggybacked with my Diablo CMR tune. Why would I need you to further tune it? Again, forgive my stupidity.

SRTLUVR, I don't understand your question, but based on what you stated there should be no reason for me to retune it, the only reason would be to change tables if needed within the CMR software that the handheld doesn't allow you to modifiy if you needed them changed for some reason.. Hope this helps.

Yes, that does help me understand.
What I was trying to figure out was, why would I need a "tune" for my "tuner?" Just couldn't figure out why I would need two "tunes?" Does that make sense? But the way you explained it, I get it now. So thanks my man! :)

Can you guys eliminate shift torque management through CMR tuning? I am running a dyno/AF assessed and modified 93CAI tune with changes made solely using the handheld. How would I benefit from using a custom tune from you guys at B&G. I would be interested if their are significant advantages to this...mods in my sig.

Hemisfear, There are paramiters within the CMR software that can enhance the performance of your vehicle that the handheld doesn't modifiy or either do he canned tunes, So to answer your question yes we can improve over the canned tunes...

    Hi Dave,

Does your B&G stage II flash usually include the O2 sensors "turned off" for people running off road mid pipes?? or do I have to ask specifically for it when you do the flash? Thanks!

Thanks Dave. I bought a used B&GII(for a GCSRT8) from another member and I actually had you reflash my VIN into it. I'm actually running it right now. I just recently purchased a set of SW headers from Andy(GotStroke?) with an off road mid pipes. I haven't had a chance to install it yet, but I wanted to know if turning off the O2 sensors usually is included when you reflash the PCM. If I want the O2 sensors off, do I have to mail you the PCM again to get it reflashed?

ACE, Yes you can if the 02 are not off already, or you could purchase a handheld tuner and I can email you the revised tune with th 02 turned off..FYI all B&G Stage II calibrations are not the same, make sure your mods lists is similar to the ones you are purchasing the pcm from..This is were alot of people have the wrong idea that all the Stage II calibrations are the same and they are not. We start witha base tune file and then modify timing/fuel/idle/TM/cooling fans/rev/mph based on the mods list the customer supplied when ordering the pcm..Hope this helps

Ace, you can email me the back up tune off your handheld tuner either SCT or Predator and I will modifiy it for your vehicle and modifications, and yes turn off the o2's if needed.. You can try the pcm that you have but watch for excesive KR some short burst will be normal (we have timing curves on the stage II for anything from 91/92/93/94/100+/and special custom requested curves) and also monitor Wot A/F to insure it is correct for your vehicle..
