we now carry EBC red stuff brake pads for the jeeps. low dust and great stopping power. no noises in a few hundred miles. check them out:rock: www.bwoodyperformance.com
yes they are on the jeep. ebc recommends new rotors or resurfacing old one prior to installing new pads. several hundred miles with little or no dust. mine go on the srt 10 next week, i cant wait.
Compare them (if you can) to the GS6 pads because these Centrics I have SUCK BTW brake dust is just free powder coating-LOL
Seems to be the case on most. On my Cayenne they stop great but the brake dust is HORRIBLE that is why I am looking at the G6 or GS6 (whatever) The OEM pads stopped great too bad about the squeel
here is what we are seeing. we installed new factory rotors along with the new ebc red stuff pads. we re-used the oem shims and greased everything with caliper grease even the pins that hold the pads in. we havent heard any noise and the stopping power is better then stock. ebc red stuff pads are working great
BETTER THAN STOCK!! GOT MY ATTENTION, I really want the DiscItalia rotors so would these be okay with them
another update. we just did a jeep with original rotors not being turned. as of now, there is no squeal after a few hundred miles we will check again. we will keep you posted, but all the sets that we have installed are performing great. they have a 24 month or 24000 mile warrenty from date of purchase
Just how red are these pads, something about red and pads sounds nasty-LOL Thanks for being the guinea pig once again guy-BWOODY ROCKS!!!
