Posted this on srt forums but in case no one checked it here it is...

Dan took a look at Eclipseguy12's car and what he found was that it had no coolant except for the water he added, so he flushed that and replaced the t-stat for him and it's still having cooling issues so he suspects the water pump has gone bad.

Also there is only 1 bolt holding the 02 housing to the exhaust side of the turbo. The plugs are shot and need replacing and the safc was set to a couple of wrong settings. So once the cooling issues and exhaust issues are fixed, they will move on to getting it tuned. He pulled some fuel here and there, made a few pulls, it hit 20psi with the bc off and it pulls pretty hard.

If I do end up cancelling it I will not set another one up. After this event, I will not set up anymore events.

 

Check your ActiveX controls. Some Internet settings are higher then others or some have ActiveX blocked. It needs to be allowed inorder to view the video. I know when I test the site it asks me to allow or block but if I'm not testing the site I'm just regularly visiting it I don't get that Internet pop-up. I'm using IE7.

 

No problem! Glad Dan was able to look into what the cars problems were. It's hard to tell from just reading the problems on the computer and trying to analyze and come up with solutions.

Yo, so I'm new to the area still haven't met many SRT4 drivers yet been busy with work and all. Anyway just wanted to rant a little about the cops down here in Clearwater... Total assholes, in the 6 weeks I've been here I've been pulled over twice and harassed by the police. Once for my exhaust being aftermarket and tint being too dark (I bought the car in Tampa and it had everything on it when I bought it). Then tonite on my birthday I get pulled over for tint in Clearwater, and a license plate light they claim wasn't working which was on when I looked at it for a reason to stop me. They cited me for the tint, $73... :supergay: Anyway I will be going to the courthouse on Friday since I'm off and letting the judge know that if they don't want people driving around with tint on their windows to stop harassing the people buying the cars with the tint already on them and make the law start at the dealership. Should be interesting, cause I refuse to pay the ticket after all the bullshit I've gone through with the clearwater police since I've been here. Anybody else get harassed by these so called police officers? I use to be a cop in the military and I know a lot of cops outside the military, these clearwater police are not what police officers are really like they are out looking to start shit over nothing... :wallbash:

I totally agree with you about the dealerships. They need to take the tint off the cars they are selling if its "illegal." The cops around here can be very annoying. I've been lucky; haven't been pulled over in my car since I bought it. [knock on wood]

 

i noticed you had a single exit exhaust and from what ive seen with the jdm type of exhaust, the cops tend to pull them over more, im starting to believe just for the way they look. how many bikes are on the road that have louder exhaust that our cars. just about every harley in the bay area!

 

i got pulled over once... knock on wood.... i got a speeding ticket for SUPPOSEDLY doing 60 on a 40mph exit ramp.

you know the one off the crosstown? ON STOCK SUSPENSION!!?!?! i fought it last thursday and my ticket dropped from $231.xx to $103.50. and no points.

mut in miami, if you go to court, that is your hearing. if you plead not guilty, then youre clear(if the cop dont show) but here in hills, if you show and plead not guilty, this is your arraingment and you have to return for an actual court date.
