Hey guys i finally figured out some of the damage that occured to my SRT8 Cherokee after a 220 + km/h run. It warped the heads 18thousandths and are now paperweights. I figured since i have it apart i might as well push it to 500hp with a heads and cam package. Any ideas where to get something like this shipped to Canada? Thanx guys

It seems incredibly doubtful that the run warped your heads. It may have exposed the fact that the heads were out of spec to start with, but why would that run/how could it warp the heads?

Were they unbelievably hot? Are you running 20 psi of boost somehow?

I wouldn't take that lying down. Something could easily have been defective long before your run.

Yeah thats what everybody has been telling me, that this engine is pretty solid. I've pushed my 6.0 litre chevy way harder and over many more miles and she has never ever hesitated nor burns a drop of oil, but every manufacture has their lemons...

Many a member has pushed theire 6.1 to that level and beyond with no issues whatsoever. I am in Ontario and could probably hook you up with something...just pick a supporting vendor and I'll see how we can smuggle them over lol..j/k. Seriously though, I have many tips that 'may' help you along the way. Lastly, these parts should be covered under warranty unless your dealer is aware of some serious modifications....otherwise a smackdown may be in order.

Like others have said, a 220km run didnt damage your heads. I ran my Jeep up to 160+ and carried a speed of over 120 for almost 2 hours and havent had any problems. What happen that made you pull the heads off ? Like others have said, it seems like at some time you had extreme heat.

I went with HHP and would reccommend them to anyone. The service is top notch. Talk to Josh over there.
