    It was great weather but there were a lot of car plus lots were blowing up and they were down to 1 lane 4 awhile until the mess was clearned up. I met up with Tamera with her 08 Jeep and Lyle in his 07. I got in 3 runs and the last 1 took 2 hrs to get. Im bone stock and only mod i did was pulling the abs/tc fuse and boy what a difference it made from just pushing the tc button off. Even with this mod the car spun in 1st a little. Here is my runs. This time i didnt carry any extra stuff in the jeep and had 1/4 tank gas. Race weight was 5090 and last time is was 5177. My best 1st time out was DA 1587 ft, 60 FT 1.882, ET 8.682, MPH 79.51 with just the tc button off.

    2nd time out

    RUN 1 - DA = 1071 FT
    RT........=.590 .500 Is perfect
    60 FT......1.814
    330.........5.385
    1/8.........8.392
    MPH.......81.72
    RUN 2 - DA = 955 FT
    RT......=.642
    60 FT.....1.849
    330........5.428
    1/8.........8.440
    MPH.......82.67
    RUN 3 - DA = 415 FT
    RT......=.667
    60 FT.....1.854
    330........5.415
    1/8.........8.417
    MPH.......81.82

    Hey Jim
    That first run at 8.392 is like running a 1/4 mile in 13.17 (x1.57)
    Really Excellent for Stock
    Congrats! You've awakened the Beast!

    Hey Jim,

    It was nice meeting you the other night. You did pull off some good times for being bone stock. Far better than I did last summer. I couldn't hook up for anything, last night! I never spun through first and into second like I did that night. Don't really know why. I've never run since the Borla "S" and BWoody sway bar links have been bolted on. Maybe this had something to do with it. My third run, I got an 8.353 at 82.89mph. Was kinda discouraged because I usually run 8.1-8.2s very consistently. I don't know? Anyway, glad you got home okay and I hope to see you some time again.

    Lyle

    Thank you Lyle was a pleasure meeting you and Tamera to. I wished i could of been in line with you 2 then we could of bs more as i was in front u guys were at the end lol. I made my last run about 830 and i let the air down to 38 front 35 rear and didnt help as it was my worest 60 ft time of 1.854 but was my 2nd best et of 8.417 so i guess it did hurt me. It seems that 40 front 36 rear is best 4 bone stock. Im going to try and go 3-8-08 to tnt at Fontana to run the 1/4 mile and hope to see there. This day they open at 7AM run at 9 and they say be there early so im going to get there like 4-5 am. I think they limit it to the 1st 400 cars then shut it off. I have been told you may get 2 to 3 runs thats about it. The cost is 20 buxs.
