When the car is in motion, there's a squeaking or metal rubbing noise coming from the right rear rim area. it only comes above 15 mph.

if its a constant squeeking like close to "squeeking clean" it possible could be the strut. did you lower it? if its lowered and sounds like a rubbing it probally is the fender, or the top of the plastic in the wheel well

Yes it is constant "squeeking clean" would definitely describe it. But NOPE never lowered it..Just started all of a sudden yesterday but only comes when I am above 15mph, any lower and no sound at all...

    it might be the strut

my wifes Cavalier was making that same sound and she had 40 on it with stock suspention

i replaced it and lowered it at the same time (since its already apart)

    no problems since

    thats another posibility as well
take it to the pressure washer and spray inside really good and see if it helps

look at the brake senor most cars have them
(the neon does but not ours)

my stock brakes wore out at 43k (metal to rotor)

Well took it to firestone to get the shoes rotated, balanced and an alignment and they looked to see what that noise was, and YEPPERS it was the brake pad lil squeal tab...BUT they said wow that thing is long, you still have over 50% pad left...

So I am gonna get new pads...Any suggestions other than the stockers

I'm no expert, but my first thought was that the carbon fiber wheel wells, carbon fiber tires, carbon fiber lug nuts and carbon fiber axle you put on the car since last Thursday somehow began to melt together...

No shit! Moe, suck it up and clean brake dust... all REAL SRT8'ers do it!

Notice: I didn't mention Chris as being a real SRT8'er. LMAO!!!

your car is so light with all the carbon fiber, the tires are trying to grip the road. Throw about 12 cement blocks in the trunk, that will take care of it.
