I've changed all my gauges and A/C Controls to blue LED's. The only thing is that I cannot figure out a way to change the defroster and Dial-A-Boost lights to blue LED's. Does anybody have any idea of how to do it?

Yeah, I tried doing the defroster, gotta solder a resistor to the LED and solder the other LED. I don't know anything about soldering though. I'm just getting sick of looking at an amber and a green light when the rest of my setup is blue.

So basically what I did was buy the LEDs with the resistors already wired in. They come with like a foot or so of wire already soldered on. I got them in a 4 pack for < $10 at Western Auto, or Auto Zone.

This is how I did the defrost button. Sorry it's the only pic I have, but you can get the gist of it.

Click it for a bigger pic. What I did was strip the wire and wrap it around the posts like in the pic. Make sure the polarity is correct. If you can see, the wire with the white stripe is the one for +. You can dab a little solder on there if you want, but I didn't I just wrapped it tight, and when you snap it back together, it gets held in place pretty good. The LED isn't attached to anything, it's just kind of sitting in there, pointing towards the button. I haven't had any trouble with it in like 2 years.

My defroster still has the small amber light when it's turned on, but the button is lit up blue when the lights are on. I wouldn't bother messing with the small amber light if I were you.
