    Read Money.com today.
They mentioned a talk of a Chrysler/Cerberus and Ford merger. The intent of the plan would eliminate ALL of the cars except the mini-vans and Jeeps. It also noted the Caliber, Magnum, and Sebring as "no-sale" merchandise.

90% of the garbage that works in the car dealers are total sleeze. I can say this comfortably as my family owned a Cadillac/GMC franchise for over 25 years. The saleman generally dont have any skills except to ask for money. Product knowledge, as you have seen, is next to nil.

    Want to make a deal?
Just go in and talk to the sales manager with an invoice printed from the internet.
He will add advertising, which varies per car, and a few hundred for excess profit. It just saves you the time of jerking yourself off with some zero "salesman". If you dont get what you want, go somewhere else. These fools try to create this aura that they have the only game in town. Not the case.

Good story about a Chrysler product - The Prowler.
On the Larchmont/New Rochelle border there is a Chrysler dealer. This clown had a Prowler in the show room and would only sell it for $10,000 over sticker. So, nobody buys the thing. We decide to break his balls and send in friends to make low-ball offers on the car. He still doesnt sell. A FULL YEAR passes. My friend and I brought in Carvel birthday cake and sang happy birthday to the car and left the cake on the hood in the showroom. Yes, I am a bit of a dick.

Jay did you try the Dodge dealership on 114 in Danvers/Peabody?? They usually have a good selection of SRT's available.
