    Hey guys and gals,

Just a brief introduction of myself. My name is Kyle, and I am a 26 year old disabled combat veteran and current law enforcement professional in Southern Indiana. I grew up in a broken home with no family and never had a male figure to learn from. Therefore, I do not know how to do much when it comes to tools and mechanical work. However, I really want to learn and it would bring great satisfaction to learn how to maintenance and modify my own vehicle. Without further adieu:

I just purchased my first SRT8 on 18 May 2013. I purchase a 2007 Brilliant Black Crystal Pearlcoat Dodge Charger SRT8 with 58,200 miles. I feel like I got a good deal as the vehicle came with a Mopar CAI, Illuminated SRT8 Door sills, which look awesome by the way, and a few other things for $21,900 and a clean CarFax with a lot of service/maintenance history. I believe it only has option group 1 unfortunately, but to be honest, I probably wouldn't use all the rear entertainment systems or anything like that.

First impressions are woah! It is truly a vehicle that wears many different hats and performs very well in each area. I wanted a 4 door vehicle to be fast, aggressive, and fun when I am by myself, but able to hold kids in the back safely and conveniently when they come along. It's the first vehicle that if I hit the right peddle, it actually puts me back in the seat. I was just playing around and my best of 3 0-60 times so far has been 4.83 seconds. To me, that's really fast. Much faster than anything I've ever owned.

I look forward to learning from you guys and gals, which I already have. My next modifications I am going to build from are adding my JET 180 degree thermostat, adding either the Zoomers or Corsa Xtreme Exhaust system with Magnaflow Mids, and tuning with a Diablo tune. I will possibly get into some heads, cams, and others mods in the future once the current power level becomes boring. Right now I want my car to be fast and sound fast at the same time. While the stock exhaust system doesn't sound bad at WOT, it leaves some to be desired at warm idle and normal driving. I have been doing a lot of research and I am down to the Zoomers or Corsa Xtreme, both of which have little to no cabin drone.

If there are any other SRT owners around Southern Indiana, let me know. Maybe we can get together sometime as I really want to learn all I can about my car and get ideas from others.

If ya guys need to know a little more about me, or what I do, just check my profile.
