Hey guys I need help I have an srt4 with 122k miles and it's been in great condition till it started over boosting and now it smokes sometimes. Idkk why but it smokes randomly. I thought it was The turbo so i replaced It but its still doing the same thing. It's like white smoke and It smells like antifreeze. What do u guys think it could be? Head gasket or did I crack a head??
first i would do compression test and see what numbers you get. next would be does it over heat? or has it ever over heated on you? if you get low numbers on the compression test you need to tear down the top end and see what happen could be a simple thing as a head gasket but wont know for sure till its taking apart. my head gasket went bad and haven't had any probably with it since then. if you got any question ill try ti answer the best i can. good luck keep us posted
