If you are planning on rebuilding it, what difference would it make if it's good or not? Wouldn't you only be concerned about if it was cheap enough. Just curious, 'cause I've never rebuilt an engine, so I don't know what you look for in a candidate for rebuilding.

i would say a good rebuild motor would be depending on miles, condation of block and heads. something that doesnt have a hole that isnt suppose to be there but nevin has a good point a turbo pt motor would work. also it be best to put a few extra cash to get that better part so you know you got the best parts. depends on the power you are after would also decided on what you need. so i would sat what is the motor for and what kind of power are you after. also are you looking for top or bottom end power.
