How many more years will they continue to produce the SRT-8 Challenger?

Rumor is that 2014 will be the last year, that would give it a 6 year lifespan and thats a long time for a car today.
The Mustang was revamped for 2010 and gets another for 2013...

By 2014 let's hope they have a blower in there.
    Why not revamp for 2015?

It probably will depend on how much sales the 'Cuda takes away. If it is true to be released.
Chrysler needs a lighter car to dominate the mustang and camaro.

Doesn't the extra weight contribute to the comfortable ride.

Well, it is a whale and weight is far more important to overall performance than power, see Colin Chapman...
I´d love to get a carbon hood for my Maggie convinced it would make it handle a lot better, but budget has me stapped down right now.

Yes.....But it slows the car down and slows handling. Point for mustang and camaro.

The same could be said for the CTS-V Sedan. It's the same weight as a Challenger except it costs about $20,000 more and has a blower. It would be interesting to see which one has a better comfortable ride for these bumpy roads. The CTS -V also has magnetic ride suspicion as standard equipment.

I'd be happy to see some tuning for the 2011 and newer models, we compete with the ford and chevy just fine on the drag strip and the street. Not so sure about the road course stuff.

I have always liked the looks of the Challenger over the Cuda. Sort of like the higher end Pontiac Trans-AM over the Chev. Camaro Z/28. The Challenger is the more expensive / higher end model over the Cuda?
