I m not really a newbie but my Ride is. I sold my 05 Red SRT 4 last year for a Challenger R/T 6 speed. So I love that car right but its not any faster then My SRT was, its harder to park, and handles like a Pig even with Pirelli p-zero rubber and lowering kit so Now that I have come to my senses I am Picking up my New Ride on Wednesday. A 2005 SRT 4 ACR in White. Sun roof, Kicker, and Side Airbags with 18K O.G. miles with only 3 modds! CAi, Catch can and MMi! and from the 2nd owner who bought it 3 months ago and found out his wife is Having another kid (3)! I had to buy it!! only thing is This second owner took the air bag seats out for Actual ACR seats. The AB seats are just PT GT seats anyways right? Is there a conversion kit for doing that? I am sure someone on here has done that modd. Right?
I always like the Challenger until I sat in one; dunno, but was somewhat disappointed; surprised ME that I liked the Charger better.... actually I was shocked. YOU aren't the first person I've seen get rid of their challenger. Maybe IF you had gotten an SRT, you may have liked that better though.
Wow, what a change. The chally was that different then the srt4? Nice chally btw. To bad you are getting rid of it..
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-5FPObfGVA) Nope test drove one of those too. Not only is the insurance crazy on them they cost too much. Biggest bummer was the just the over all performance. My Challenger Track Pack has all the SRT stuff on in and I installed SRT 8 suspension, light weight 2 piece alloy's, Pirelli P-zero rubber. She is just a little shy on power. Mine dyno'd at 349.8hp and 369.9ftbs in third gear with a BBk 85mm, Exhaust (really doesn't add much) and a HyperTech tune. all stocker's were about 332-338 in our group. I have already had to have the Rack & pinon replaced at the dealer. It rattles more than my SRT did. But DAMN it looks good. I just gave up. so its for sale if any wants it $29995 with the wheels and 8750 miles.
