After 6 weeks of hangin' with Jonathan & Josh, the girl came home. Had the following done: #1) Shave 3rd brake light & trunk keyhole #2) Remove OEM spoiler & fill holes #3) Custom fabricate new low-profile metal spoiler #4) Flat clear rear CF TruFiber diffuser #5) Flat black roof, crosshair grille, & chin spoiler #6) Shave washer nozzles on hood & repaint #7) Wet sand/address any slight problem areas Here's the pics. I can NEVER seem to get the right angle, despite having a fancy-dancy camera, lol. Spoiler shots to start. Flat clear on the carbon fiber baby. Flat black roof. Flat black grille & chin spoiler No more washer nozzles! A few full body shots. A few random engine bay shots. Thanks for looking. I need to take photography classes, lol.
Dang Chase.... That is just unbelievably good looking. Just astounding the difference those seemingly small changes make to the rear. Congrats.
In my opinion it was well worth the six week wait, my favorite of the changes is the flat black cross hair, it looks soooooo mean! The cleaning up of nozzles and keyholes finnishes off a truly astonishing car, cudos to you Chase!:salut: Fredrik:thumb3:
Thank you so much guys, I appreciate that! Kyron, thanks for being honest, I've had a few guys say the same, I just feel the totally opposite, I NEVER liked the OEM spoiler. Other than a faux-firewall panel, and cleaning up the engine bay wiring, I'm done for awhile, the money is gone, lol. Thanks again for the compliments guys.
Well done sir. Well done. I like the spoiler. haha you are gonna LOVE no squirters and trunk lock... hehe Especially when it comes time for waxing.
Nice! I do like the look of the custom spoiler. My question is, what will you do know if you get a massive bug splat on your windshield and you can't clean it off now that you removed your washer nozzles
ABSOLUTELY Ron!! That's what I'm thinking!! Thank you sir!! #1) That crap that squirts out of your windshield washers is BAD on your paint, especially if you let sit there and dry for days. NOT GOOD. In the last 5 years, owning these 3 Mopars, I cannot recall ONE TIME where I've EVER needed to use my windshield washers. EVER. Not even on the daily drivers. The ONLY REASON I even keep them on the DD's is for a severe "just in case" moment. #2) If you keep your windshield clean & a coat of Rain-X or other glass sealant on it, you will never have to use your windshield washers. The only people that use their windshield washers, are usually people that are too lazy to keep it clean in the first place. #3) Every few days, my windsheld will get wiped down with Detail Spray & a microfiber. This treatment is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay preferred for me, as opposed to spraying some sloppy messy shit all over the damn place. #4) As for a big bug splat?? I have a small bottle of Detail Spray & plush microfiber in my console. It can get wiped off when I arrive at my destination. Thanks for the compliment sir!!!
I never use my wipers either. All those do is drag the dust/dirt/grit across the windshield and after a few years it hazes the windshield and you can see the wiper tracks.
Bugs stop flying when they know Chase is driving... Water avoids Chase like the plague Dirty shutters in his wake, for Chase IS, the Most Interesting Driver.
